Harvest Question

Wats good everyone. I have two plants they're pretty far along. They are pretty far into flowering and I think they're almost done. I would say around 50% of the hairs are reddish brown. I just had a few questions. What is the best way to know exactly when to harvest if you don't have a magnifying glass? The buds are covered in white powder, but from what i've read you need a magnifying glass to look at the trichomes to see if they turned amber. Is it possible to see without one, because from what I can see they look like they are cloudy. Also some branches look like they are really small buds. My question is can I harvest the plant branch by branch? If so what is the best way to do this.

Any help is appreciated. I realize this information is probably available but I've been looking for days and I can't find an exact answer. Thanks everyone

Some people harvest the top cola first and give the rest a while longer.

Thanks for the replies. So on one of them the leaves have started yellowing but the buds arent too fat. The other one, none are really yellowing but the buds are alot fatter. So how long do you wait after the leaves start yellowing?

And does anyone have a good way of telling when the best time to harvest is without a magnifying glass?

yea just look at them and when they are cloudy/amber looking. you can tell w/o a glass if your light is bright

also there are new buds and white hairs forming on the top cola of one of them, its been like 8 and half weeks. how much longer do u think i have left?
