Harvest Question

Hey guys,

My indica strain I grew was very tight and when I was trimming I pulled some of the bud out a bit to cut behind it (part that was resting on the main stem) and i noticed not only did it have No trichomes on that part but it was very light green almost white, looked like cabbage or something. But the outside that was hitting the light was normal. Is this okay? I never saw that before in my past 2 grows. I might add that it also hermied a lot and gave me like 20-30 seeds. So it wasnt the perfect finished plant but everything else looked good.

Is it normal to have it look like that on the part resting on the stem?

yeah thats normal with some strains...its probably a little more moist in those spots?....after a good dry and cure that will start to fade away. and for lack of trichs...if its in a area that never had much light or air...trichs wont form in those areas sometimes. trich form to protect the plant (and give us lots of THC) and if a area does not receive light,wind,moisture...it has no reason to form trichs to protect that area....but thats only in theory as it comes to why there are no trichs there.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the quick replies. I just checked them and you are right.. it is starting to fade away. It is in the 2nd day of drying so I guess when they are finished drying and curing it will be completely gone. Have you ever grown seeds that were from a hermied plant? I got like 30 seeds off of my aurora indica. I had vanilla kush growing right next to it and that didnt get any seeds or male parts.. so It wasnt pollinated as far as i can tell, it just hermied.

thanks again
