Harvest ready??

Hey guys, so I currently have 5 plants, they're photoperiod/feminized bought them off of ilgm. They're supposed to be Zkittles strain , planted 5 in my garden one girl got up to seven and a half feet (when I was tilling I mixed in some Fox farm, dry compost peat moss and earthworm castings) but I'm getting hit hard with humidity swings from like 45 during day to high 80s in the early morning. I live in central New York around Syracuse. So I've been battling some PM and I want to harvest these as soon as I can, this is my first time growing these type of plants I've only grown indoor autoflower in the past. I'd appreciated anyone's opinion or knowledge on if they're ready to harvest or close to harvest. I tried getting some good pictures close up, I'm not sure if the colas are swollen enough yet or the hairs have receded. I numbered the plants they're all the same age, I'd say about 16 weeks I popped the seeds around memorial day weekend. Thanks guys stay up! ( I have a bunch more pictures if needed just ask!)

That's what I'm thinking, but I'm getting some PW and this weeks steady 70s humidity where I'm at. It's a drag. Soaked in dew all night till 8am. Using milk and water and apple cider vinegar spray . Dr zymes just wasn't doing it I was surprised

I hate bud rot. I use hydrogen peroxide diluteion - i think it's called zerodol HC but I could be very wrong on that.

We had a glorious 3 weeks in Boston and I have the best plant I've ever grown - autoflower Jack Herer (from seedsman). She may not be so great in the dutch hall of fame, but in my personal hall of fame, she is david ortiz. If she were a person she would be exceedingly beautiful.

I think it's getting ready for harvest. . what do you think? 1727209343896.png

I started this one up June 27 is when it sprouted. so now it's about 95 days from sprout. The folks at seedsman say 10-12 weeks, and I'm on the outer limits of that rn. Also it's supposed to rain in Boston area tomorrow (Thursday) so I think I will put her in a dark shed for a couple of days and then chop her. She's been very good at resisting bud rot, but I'm beginning to see a few little signs of it. ...

I hear you I'm in New York and it's pouring right now I wish they weren't in the ground. But yeah I think they recommend 24 hours of darkness then cut it just be careful putting it in a shed with high humidity that'll just make it worse the rot and mold.

Maybe look into Friesland indica seen some boys doing well with it in NYC on another forum the genetics matter as much as good weather and luck in my opinion

That Friesland indica has an interesting story, from Dutch Passion Seeds:

This legendary strain goes back to the early days of the SSSC in the 1980's and in some parts of the world growers kept clones due to her unusual and rare characteristics. The Friesland genetics are naturally highly resistant to bad weather, this makes her interesting to outdoor growers of all types.

Friesland is the result of extensive outdoor selective breeding in the cold and damp area of the Friesland region. This breeding took place back in the early days of the SSSC in the North of The Netherlands, close to the Wadden Sea. The only phenotypes that would survive in this rough climate are the extra sturdy, mold resistance plants.
Friesland is a pleasure to work with and a special plant which you will enjoy growing. But she also has the dankest and most desirable indica terpene profile with hints of cream. You may also find some plants which seem to lean more towards a chemical terpene profile with hints of glue.

Not listed in seedsman or rqs though.

Kwik seeds still selling it mate that's the same folk that run the real seed company there solid
