IF your having that kind of problem i would suggest start looking for a de-humidifier look on craigslist or rummage sales.strong airflow will help but not eliminate the mold threat.

Okay. Checked the trichs on white widow and seems close. I am flushing from here on out. Should all the thrucs be milky? because some definitely are. Also i noticed sparse strands. maybe a spider's web left behind. Is this bad?

that could be dust or hair that blew into your room unless its actually spun around a leaf or a bud i wouldnt worry. if some are white..id say you want to see at least half turned.. your good to do your flush imo, when you harvest they will be more matured and will continue to mature for a few days after!

Just remember amber is when they are truly mature ,cloudy is just going to give you a portion of what she really has!And mainly a heady speedier buzz,The true comatose only happens with nice red gooey trichs :bigjoint:

thats not really true...when a gland turns amber it is decaying already the high you get is going to be slightly more couchlock BUT not by much the high is mostly determined by the thc profile of the plant...you dont want to wait until they are mostly amber you want to harvest when they are mostly cloudy and a few amber and as the drying/curing process starts more will still turn amber!! thats my opinion at least..i too like a couchlock high but notice i get that anyway from a mostly indica plant that is mostly cloudy not yet mostly amber...anyone else wanna back me up on that or tell me im totally wrong go for it ive just noticed this to be true and seen many other ppl say this as well...

every big name grower out there says wait till amber i have been doing it for twenty and amber always best, some plants take up to 4-7 wks to change from cloudy to amber ,a lot of sativa's have cloudy trichs half way through flower cycle so not sure i agree with you on that one.TrikeChart.jpg

so wait..your saying some take 7 weeks after they are already milky which is at like 7-8 weeks?? thats 14 weeks in flower and theirs very few strains that take this long because the market is geared toward us impatient folks..if you take an 8-9 week strain (which is most strains sold these days) and leave it up for 14 weeks you have greatly broken down the thc into other compounds..just like with bananas their is such a thing as overripe... i quickly found this just to back myself up read post 3 http://boards.cannabis.com/indoor-growing/27014-i-see-some-amber-trichs-approx-how-long-before-finish.html

i see you said alot of sativas have cloudy trichs halfway through so i see what your saying about them being amber by harvest but still not alot of ppl are growing 14 week strains...from what i see at least

JUst none of the newbies are growing sativa's! My garden got the entire range that's why i say you have to be specific on the strain and time period of flower cycle.
