Harvest Tricks!

As a first timer about to harvest in a few days I'm glad I came across this. Thanks. Especially the list of stuff to have ready at harvest time. I added alcohol to my list.
 
Ill throw in a tip about drying for yah, wherever you choose to dry humidity control is going to be everything. i havnt had to worry about high humidity myself yet, its always been low humidity thats been my problem. just reading alot of post would lead you to believe you would only have to worry about high humidity and mold, but if you dry in to low a humidity it will cost you in flavor and smell in the end even after drying you cant full all the flavor back out. ive dryed as low as 20pct humidity and even after 6 weeks it was unimpressive, but the same plants from the same grow in another drying area at 45pct humidity came out of the dry already smelling great and the cure just brought it out even more. so my tip to noobs looking to dry is monitor your humidity and dont let it get to low cause it will cost you quality, alot can be brought back in curing sometimes but not always. right now i try to stick at a constant 55pct, you dont want to dry to fast and a low humidity will dry in just a couple days, if possible you want to stretch your dry out without risking mold.
 
Ian, nice first grow man I'd love to light up some of those buds! That is really somethin for a first timer!

Awesome idea for a thread too. People could contribute some really valuable insights for others to learn on this veryyyy important subject.
 
Good job! Thanks for your input Im going to harvest in a few days very detailed on point words. Better then these asshole so called Mr. Ganja ppl that all they do is critize and talk shit is stead of putting there own input in for the good. Let this be a lesson learned to all you new growers lets keep RIU a learning spot not a shit talkin spot when you grow for 5yrs and become Mr. Ganja on RIU help others, thats it.

I mean, I'm a really good grower... but my first grow wasn't anything like this.

I dunno.. I mean I don't know for sure if that was your first grow or not.. but highly unlikely.

Just my opinion.. but rather or not its your first grow or not.. doesn't really matter.. because either way those buds look fucking delish son!

but seriously, why would you lie about being a noob? everyone has to start out somewhere, personally, i wouldn't want a perfect first grow, i learned more by making the mistakes i've made, than by getting lucky/ smart / good (research is king) first time out of the gate... it's more about the learning, everyone is on their own path to knowledge... ganja: i don't know you, but why so suspicious man?
 
What strain are the pic's, Im wondering about the LSD, Ive just added 4 indoors and 2 to my outdoor garden. All my outdoor are in 4ft backfilled pits, but the LSD's are 55gl garbage cans, which is a first for me. Anyways your grow looks great, good yield, great looking quality, slow dry and cure and your gonna be stoked. Any info you have on the lsd's would be much appreciated. Happy growing to all, peace!

you will find that this site is full of stupid stale hippies that dont know how to do sh1t but copy and paste. a bird could shit out a seed and do a better grow job than 9/10th of the assholes on here . the shit looks nice good job fukk the rest of the assholes on here that think they know so much dont let em knock ya
 
still think they look great. dunno why people are shocked about it being your first grow though. if you make it over to my threads (in sig) and look at my first grow, i dont think they came off much different. for an idea, my avatar is the cola off one of em as of last night =D
