Do you have a jewelers loupe or a magnifying glass or something that will show the trichomes?
From the pics provided, I don't see a lick of amber.

Why would you stop watering?
Bud being "done" is personal choice with a few basic bit of information. I'm sitting in a mosquito filled, screened tent, getting high while I write this. If I'm short, I apologize.
Get someone to tell you about trichomes ...bugs.....fuck.....back later if no one answers.
