Harvest?

Hey guys,

My 'unhealthy seedling' is all grown up now and looking about ready to pick. The only question is: When? I've ordered a 60 - 100x Microsocpe but it's taking its time getting here and I'm worried I'll let the plant go too far - I really prefer the cerebral/energizing high to a couchlock one.

Anyhow, the strain is WW Auto, they're 12 weeks and 2 days old, and here are some pictures. Is there any way to tell without a microscope if I should harvest yet?

those are definetly not ready to harvest you got a couple more weeks left

With most (normal) autos finishing around 9-10 weeks, your ww doesn't appear to be there yet even at 12 weeks....get ya scope & check ya trics...but the looks of the white hairs is saying NOT YET....I def agree with your harvest preference....I found several years ago, that I much prefer the cerebral high adn make sure I harvest with 90% clkoudy trics, few clear, even fewer amber.....with that as a rule of thumb, I can enjoy effects that are closer to the breeders advertised one....even sativa doms will definitely go couchlock on ya if they go too long...and indica doms are a shitty dumb down when they go too long and definitely HAVE to be harvested a bit early to get the high you want....or at least a high that is "worthy" ....

Oldreefer - This was my first grow and the plant has undergone quite a bit. 3 seeds were planted and all of them cracked.

1 plant fell victim to newbie transplanting, got some roots torn and was stunted, only reaching about 4inches tall - that was obviously ready and was a fantastic smoke (For 5 mins or so - with the 2.3g dry I got off it).

1 plant never really took off from the get go, and just sat there for 4-5 weeks without really growing, then leaves started dying. I ended up binning this one.

And finally, the lady above. 12 weeks old, suffering from early over watering, transplant shock and I've probably been a little light on the nutes, but she's still around

Which colour should the hairs be when approaching the time for harvest? I've got a friend with an insane SLR Macro Lens coming round today to see if we can snap some shots of the trichs with that.

Those white hairs will change color, to a brown/orange and begin to recede back into bud structure....I'd dare esay your trics are all clear at this point.....with your ww being stunted from several things, that could well be why it's going longer....plus....some of the newer autos such as ww, NLights, JHorror & BubbleLi do take a bit longer ....overwatering spells doom for all MJ in one manner or another.....good karma to ya...

what light ru using

I created an array of 10 x 35w CFL's using a wooden rectangle as the mounting bracket, and some plywood for the 'hood'.
Also have a few lamp stands that have 35w CFL's in them as well, for the lower branches once the plant are that big.

It's only in a small tent - 1.4hx1.0wx1.0d but handles the 2 plants I want to grow at this point. Eventually (Sooner rather than later) I want to turn this tent into a cloning box and get another large one with split sections for the veg/flowering. Just wanna make sure I'm not going to kill everything I touch first

Definately not ready as everyone said, probably more like 5-6 weeks get a microscope and look at thrichromes. Theres a sticky on when to harvest i suggest you read it well
