i dont want the mites crawling all over me and crap while im trimming.

i read its bad to spray with pesticides at this point. so what can i do?

any help/. i dont feel comfortable cutting and trimming then smoking weed with mites all over it.

and i dont want to trash this harvest considering i have atleast 10ounces at a minimum here dry.

Please help me here. am i completely screwed?

I'd spray them with insecticide if it's that much weed just don't sell any of it without telling people it's been treated with bug spray.

I dunno man this sounds pretty fucked. Do not use any harsh pesticides that's for sure.

Maybe submerge the nugs in some water solution, a lot of bugs may drown and come off. Then dry the nugs and inspect again.

75% of all marijuana you have ever smoked contains mite poop/web/corpses... I was grossed out at first... but then i got high.

DON'T SPRAY THEM...... its simple get a straw and suck them off as hard as you can and keep spitting them into a Mcdonalds cup.... then its no longer gross

Bullshit. Unless your smoking some bammer outdoor. Even then 75% is a rediculously large number to claim.
Just because our personal setups are mite free or have lost battles in the end vs hobby growers..... 75% of the weed you would buy on the market is grown on a larger scale..... and you can watch almost every commercial garden or med garden in cervantes or monotone nico escondido ... all infested..... and not all hobby growers are mite free so I think 75% is an under estimate....... mite poop web or mites have a huge presence in weed cultivation.....and in some way shape of form finds its way into the vast majority of crops. troll on!!

Ladybugs will do the job best without harming buds.

If you can't ladybugs then I would probably..

Water cure twice, first time with a drop or 2 of neem oil in the water then just clean water the second time.

You could probably freeze them

First of all, not everyone that disagrees with you is a "troll". With that logic I could call you a "troll" just as well. If you said 75% of outdoor bud has some sort of insect on it, I would be more inclined to beleive that. But generalizing that 75% of all weed has bugs or bug shit is a bold claim with little to back it up. All I know is that where I come from the amount of bugs (in the "market") in crops was so low that is a hassle to find it in my bud. Nowadays everyone I know smokes indoor dank, with little to no bugs on it. I could say only 10% of buds have bugs, because that's about what I've encountered. See what I'm getting at? Just because 75% of what you smoke is covered in big shit, does not mean it is the case for everyone everywhere.

I'd agree with Stoned Cockatoo - get aload of ladybirds & release them onto the buds (obviously in some sorta enclosed space tho).

I can't say i would've thought of freezing off the top of my head but that certainly sounds possible - i dunno how good a frozen bit of weed comes out if it got frozen while still wet/damp, but its gotta be worth a try. Maybe freeze a few buds & see what happens & how it looks when it thaws.

And water cure might be best bet as the weeds probably still technically "wet" still now anyway - might be less damaging than freezing would be. My 1 tip if u do water dip tho is make sure u shake the weed round underwater as plenty of bugs will find safety in loads little air pockets/bubbles otherwise & just come out fine again.

And to add my 3 cents about bugs, the only way to be 100% certain they're gone is to blast off & nuke the entire site from orbit! (lol again!)

Yeah I'd be weary of freezing wet buds but you might find that it only takes an hour or 2 of freezing temps to kill the mites without turning your buds to an iceblock.

I dunno I'm just guessing here I'll try find something on mites and and cold temps would be interesting to know

Spray them with water!!! I have had the same problem and I just took them to the sink and hosed em down with the sprayer! Seemed to work with no problems?

I would water cure it all...it should drown the mites and stop them immediately from eating the plants ....you will lose 12-15% more weight this way...but so what...those mites will eat their fill and breed for the next week while those plants hang and still be on there... submerge the whole bud under water for 72 hours..change water every 24 hours and you are done..mites dead.
