I wet trim and always have.. but.. I only grow two 3 foot tall plants at a time.

If I was growing 2 monster plants god.... it could take 12-16 hours.

Last time for me to wet trim 2 plants it took 5 hours.

just do what ya want bro. just dont go too long. The closet I dry in with small oscillating fan takes bout 5 days to be fully dry. I wish I could go 2 weeks but they are pretty perfect in 5 days

I've held over 10 lbs of freshly cut colas in the refrigerator for roughly 10 days before when I couldn't get to them in my normal 4 days,no I'll effects, potency the same, taste the same, zero mold, very very very little leaf wilt after 7 days .

Wrap the buds up using a material that can breathe,I use cheese cloth, then plop em in the fridge & you'll be good to go,I make 5 big ass bundles out of my colas & stuff each bundle on a shelf in the fridge .
When you say fridge do you mean the freezer or is the fridge good enough?

I may have to do this but I basically have 100 squat feet worth of colas I have no idea where I'm going to fit all that....I'll edit this post with a pic and show you where I'm at

I'm talking about a refridgerator not the freezer, just a regular household fridge works well,I pull down 50 sea of green single colas every grow from a 4ft x 8 ft table, colas are the size of 2 litre bottles & up,dry weight ranges from 8-10 lbs every grow & I put it all inside a refrigerator as soon as I chop it so I can concentrate on cleaning & restocking the table .

I don't even start trimming until the buds have been in the fridge for 2 days on average, then it takes me 4 days to trim,I've waited as long as 10 days before even starting to trim & finished at the 2 week mark, all buds were fresh still at the end,the big fan leaves still snap off with that crisp snap at the base,no leaf curl,no wilting, just a regular household fridge & your good to go.

Its no different than bringing home fresh vegatables & putting them in the fridge,MJ buds keep exactly like lettuce .

Thanks for the info man. I'm really freaking out here I'm afraid I might lose my entire harvest. I didn't plan ahead for the harvest and trim and I didnt think it was going to take this long and be this tideous.

I'm currently breaking the plants down in sections and taking them out of the trellis and hanging them up fan leaf and all. As soon as I finish hanging them I'll go in and take off all the fan leaves. Then I'll start taking colas out of the drying room and trimming them little at a time. Does this plan sound ok? Will doing this cause them mold by seeing light and dark? I really would prefer a wet trim that's why. Or should I just let them dry then dry trim them while keeping them stored.

They won't mold on you in a refrigerator,if your going to hang them I'd hang branches vs whole plants,I hate trimming dry because it takes 10x longer,I bought a full size 5ft fridge with no freezer from best buy with a dent in it for $299 & that's how I trim, since your already chopping stuff a big was of buds in your vegetable crisper tonight & see how they look in the morning, they'll look like you just chopped them down, nice & fresh feeling & no limp leaves .

Bandit you proly have a clean fridge. just a heads up, mold can spread in a fridge.
I clean mine b4 I bring in a large lode of produce ; have had fresh herbs catch mold pretty quickly but I will try what you suggested it'll work in a nondedicated fridge. My friends parents used to store his weed in the fridge when he was up for a karate belt. And I have had good freezer weed from long time . But never thought of using one for that.
Been wondering about single cola growing hit me up if you have advise on it.

Yea keeping a tidy fridge is a must, after each use I clean it & leave the door open overnight for fresh air flow.

Anything you want to know about sea of green single cola flood n drain style I'll be happy to help,a long gone member called Al B Fuct mentored me in the method & I try to help others with it now that Al left the site.

Would you prefer I start a thread or pm or we can talk about it here. Someone got on me about being off topic b4. I am blooming some of a strain I was working on with bbgum and lemon and buba and lemon and a gsc I added later. They are btwn 5 and 8 colas. Then I have some starts and more coming. I want to do at least one single cola run. I am down with sea of green but hesitate to add a screen cause I move them and I gota get in there.. flood and drain so that's hydro right? I do soil y for now . But am interested in trimming technique for single cola. Was going to ask you what size pots you use.. how much space to u use per plant what's your yeild per plant like¿ 2 ++1\2 oz? How big do you get em b4 you bloom how tall do you want them b4 final harvest. How bushy b4 you bloom , while you bloom?

Trimming: I'm a 2 plant 1 1/2 to 3 gal. grower so wet trimming is no prob.. I have seen posts about a certain brand of fan with a metal blade that makes a good trimmer. Sorry I don't remember the brand. Finding one seems to be the problem. Has/does or anyone considered using electric scissors? Saw a Triangle trimming op. in High Times once and they were using them. Just a thought.

I've tried renting 2 different models & didn't care for the trim, they were fast but the bud being rolled over the trimmer took a lot of Kief off, plus they left nubs all over every bud I had to go back & clean up ,for personal smoke I'd be OK with an electric but for primo smoke I like to get in the bud deep & get out all the leaf stalks & do a perfect trim,I still hate the shit though, its like pulling teeth to me .

To bad the distances are so great. I could supply an army of oldsters who would love a sit down temp. job.

I hear that,I've got 2 trusted friends I pay $300 a day to bang out the trim with me while I'm cleaning & reloading the table so I only have to help trim about an hour a day,I milk reloading the clones so I don't have to trim,I'm pushing 70 soon & the fingers get the claw if I trim all day with them .

But yea I'm an idiot lol. Its my first ever grow if that makes a difference. It all worked out though. Got em all hung and drying, will just do a dry trim. Maybe hire a couple professional trimmers and bang it out in a day or 2.

Got about 4 screens like this

Well looks like you put some thought into everything else and doing it alright. I mean... there are far worse growing problems you couldve had than not know what to do with piles of untrimmed weed...lol
