Harvesting cbd

Hey all. I have a high cbd low thc strain growing right and it's my first CBD strain. Right now my pistols are still almost all white, but the trichomes are milky white with at least I'd say 30% amber. My question is, which do I listen to regarding harvest? I thought because of the pistols that it had at least 2 more weeks, but I'm worried of the cbd degrading or thc. I believe the percents are 12 cbd and 7thc. Any input helps!

I'm guessing you're checking trichomes on the sugar leaves rather than buds. You want to check your trichs on the calyx's not leaves. I'd say you have a couple weeks to go yet.

Ahh ok. I didnt realize I was doing that. Had no idea that the sugar leaves get ambet trichs so fast. Thanks!

I've read that not all strains will show amber.. I'm nit sure about that.. Need to look at the plant as a whole..
