Harvesting multiple times in the harvest window

Ok so I've been looking for the answer to this for a while but can only find answers regarding re-vegetating plants.
What I would like to know is can you harvest your plant little by little over the course of a few days in your harvest window without shocking or damaging the plant? We all know that the time you harvest the buds greatly impact the effects and to a degree taste and quality.
I'd like to harvest at multiple points to really figure out what I effects best suit me. Has anyone done this before?

Yes: and I recommend it too, as rarely does all the apples on a tree ripen all at once

same with trics, those trics that get all the action(light) will be far ahead of the other shaded below

for this reason and if tight for weed I say harvest sequentially

and keep turning your pot daily

I also recommend growers should sample their weed,

in tiny amounts during mid to late veg too

but only if you a needing that toke

Yes I chop the top and most outward budsites from the side branches then leave the rest to finish more. I don't want immature buds so if something went wrong oh well but nothing ever has with the strains I've worked with. We call it harvesting in sections you can google that.

Thanks for all the answers everyone. Ive heard this before to sample the weed in in vegatative but I never understood what that meant. What exactly should I be sampling? I didn't think there was anything there to smoke before flowering.

What dude? You smoke your plants while they are in veg??? So if you ran out of bud do your veg plants take a lot of extra time to grow? (Ah, time for another topping)

in most instances the vegetative plant is devoid of buds,

minor thc, can be found in the top most growing tips,

enough to get the average newcomer high

avoid the lower fan leaves these have other more important uses ...lol
