Harvesting outside?

I've been thinking about the same thing....the people i'm living with right now would flip out if they knew i was growing so I can't harvest and cure my plants in my house. It sounds like a pain in the ass but I might have to build a small drying/curing shed or something.
 
hey, yea i plan to dry outside this year. going to make a small cage out of window screen, like 6 bucks for a 15 foot by 3 ft roll then put a cardboard box just smaller inside that, putting a few one inch holes in the sides and hang them in the box, going to do a few of these and hang them in trees i think. should keep animals out, won't stop bugs but i think keeping it off the ground will help.
 
dry in one of those portable garages, under tree cover ,make sure you camo it thou, what you guys think?
 
i think im going to use a shed like this outside....

make a wooden box with shelves make of chicken wirer or window screen and use a small heater to set at the bottom of the box heat rises this will dry out your bud fairly well if you dont have a heater you can use a couple of small lights 60 to 100 watt this will also generate heat... goood luck
 
yes you will need airflow to help them dry out but if you use a heater make sure it isn't too hot cus it will damage the THC and make your bud less potent. The best temp for drying is 65-75 F

Sounds like a pretty good idea, yeah deffently watch out for bugs tho. Perhaps spray pesticides aroudn where the box is going to be a week or so before you do it.
