Harvesting question

Hi all,

Total newbie here. I'm growing CBD Auto 1:1. I'm on week 6-7. I've two plants. One looks great & has acouple more weeks to go. The other one was always faster & within a couple of days all fan leaves have fallen off & its all shriveled. Stalk looks good, buds look good. I'm not sure if it is early/ready/left too late for harvest though. Trichones look clear to my eye even though leaves look brown.IMG_20230712_171509_1.jpg

Any thoughts??

Tnx

have you changed anything? Can we see full plant pics? Have you checked for any pests? I don't like the looks of those necrotic leaves or hearing that they suddenly started falling off..

let us know your medium, light, temp/rh and nutes

also you may want to remove any dead leaves around your bud sites to prevent them leading to bud rot

Yeepers!

Txn for the thoughts. I removed dead leaves.

No I didn't change anything. It's outdoor and I wanted to grow it naturally so no nutes just a fortified soil. I put a little seaweed on it but took it off when buds started to fatten. It was great until 5wks in then fan leaves all died, which I thought was normal but it is looking pretty brown now... I don't think it's a lack of nutes as I've two other plants (CDB Auto & Moby Dick) which have same regime & look great. I don't believe there are pests either but I'll double check. I think water is OK. Usually every second day, I let it dry out a little.

Here's some sad pics. Tnx!

I got para (about weed not on it for once!) so chopped it to dry it out. I didn't find any pests but then when I left it on a table to trim I saw a small insect scurrying about. So I've no idea. You might be right. But it was a good starter plant anyways. Maybe it will cure ok. Ill check my remaining grow for pests too. Onwards & upwards. Tnx for the thoughts!

you may want to look into bud washing if you have not yet

Sugar leaves don't pull off easily so I don't *think* it's bud rot.

Noted on the bud wash. Good idea.

Tnx folks

Post script!

Think I figured it out in case anyone has similar. Second plant , same strain, started to go the same way. I believe it is due to heatwaves where I am in Mediterranean. The buds started to get crispy on the sun facing side. Other stain is going great so potentially CBD Auto 1:1 is just not very resistant to severe heat during flowering. Lesson learnt.
