high guys and gals,

I have 3 plants that are ready to harvest (pics included)

however, I have to go out of the country for 3 weeks on Sunday the 15th of Feb.

is there any way I can dry fast and have them ready for jars by this time?

thanks

Johnny

Cut off all the leaves to the buds and hand them up for 7 days..

In a pitch black room with a RH of 40-60%

They should be ready to smoke after that. Mine were.

They look delicious. Have fun wherever you're going with your new jar full of danks..

PEACE

thanks man, so after the 7 days they should be okay to jar up?

should I cut the bud off the stems? and dry on a screen? I heard this might be faster, anyone know if this is a good idea?

I'd still go with cut the fan leaves, and hang 'em for ~ 7 days. I don't like dry screens because I forget to flip the buds, and they end up lookin' like me when I wake up in the morning. I've done both, in the same room. Both were 7 days or less, easy. Depends on how much work you wanna do now.

okay, so if I'm leaving on the 15th, I should go ahead and harvest today, maybe I can put a space heater in the closet and put it on 77 degrees or something... this should make them dry quickly right?

after they are dry, they will be safe to jar up right?

someone give me a step by step instruction, I'm sleepy and half way retarded right now

thanks a billion

some say using a hair dryer on a low setting may help your bud dry faster if you are in a big rush. however id be careful with it if i was you to make sure its an even dry around the outside of the buds

I generally hang mine 5 days, then jar them to start the cure.
Recently I was forced (by low temps and high humidity) to add a small fan on "LO" blowing gently towards (not on) my hanging harvest. At day five, the buds were a lot drier than I prefer . . . I jarred them, but they never really sweated and were 'ready" on day 8-10.

so should I just cut the lights out when I leave the 15th and let them cure like that? because I have to leave on the 15th for 3 weeks

And those people are the ones smoking the shit that was grown as dank hydro and is now schwag because they didn't dry or cure properly.

no heater!!! absolutely no heater!! get the room between 65-70 frht and cut the buds off the main stalk and lay them across a screen they should burn in a joint in 4-5 days!! they dont loose any taste!! you could hang them also but they tend to take a few days longer because of all the juice in the main stalk!!!

I would hang them for 4-5 days in a room that is around 70-72 degrees, then jar them for a day to bring the inner moisture out then put them in a paper sack for 6-8 hours then back in the jars. Then burp the jars every 12 hours till you have to leave. If there is still moisture in the bud and you don't burp the jars you are going to come home to jars full of moldy buds.
