i liked the LOOK of LSD, still the sexiest plant i've grown, but it was too much of a stoner bud for me in the creeper stone pheno i got that was similar to stretchier onyx. under halide both were fruity & hazy with creeper stones on top of their euphoric and even motivational early highs.
halide really brought out the grape pheno of not just my LSD, but my JW C99 and super cali haze too. the LSD had a mild but nauseating cat pissy undertone in it's early odor profile that faded to a more floral & grape odor later in flowering. it didn't live up to it's trippy rep in my freebie. i like john sinclair's sativa trans love better. it has a milder silicone rubber odor in it's early flower that fades to fruitier later, it flowers about as fast and dense, but skips the stoney part. that and all of the other similar fruity haze, jack & thai hybrids i tested recently impressed me more for having fruity highs that stay alert. i'd use LSD as a breeder to make something more compact and dense maybe, but i don't get along with any degree of stone.
if you want something that still has some stone but that DOES live up to it's trippy claims, jack's cleaner 2 kicks MUCH ASS and in just 9 weeks too. the flavor is more wild than gourmet, but just fine but the buzz is THE BEST i've had since real columbian gold and possibly even better. TGA's jack the ripper is really popular here too. one grower tole me "TGA's sativas are legit and get you high and his indicas fuck you up old school style". i'm inclined to agree. JC2 is a real old school laugh inducing trippy buzz.
