Has anyone done this before??

i am on a budget and only have a 6500k 125w cfl, i'm going to grow the plants fromm seed to flower anyone tried that and got good results, or am i just wasting my time

I've seen some great grows done with CFL. Your issue is only having 1 125 watt bulb your coverage is going to be extremely limited. You would be better off having gotten multiple smaller bulbs you can place around the plant where needed. I'm not sure how much you smoke either, but your harvest is going to be meager. Maybe a half oz at best. Is 3 months worth of work and looking after a plant worth a half a zip? That's up to you.

Is that 125w equivalent? You have to change the spectrum when you begin flowering to 2400k.

Growing 12/12 (straight into harvest from seed) is a fairly common way of growing for SOG growers without clones, it all depends on the grower and the setup but perfectly acceptable yields can be had from growing this way

- i tryed something of this nature with six 26w cfl and one long growlight from home depo from seed to harvest..
(be4 i start,i like to think of it as a experiment,and i read somewhere "remember to have fun with it" and i wasnt let down by the results keeping that in my mind) and it was my first grow
now for vegging
i used the long growlight horizontally and 3 of 6 cfl's
connecting them with sockets hanging in a old kitchen cabinet
and the all six during flowering.....(im laughing at myself rite now explaining it.....but its more funny when people say it dont work)

this by itself 14.5gr bagseed.......
the joke is on them and the smoke is on me...........FREE and FRESH......

nope its 125w cfl 6500k not 'equivalent' thats the actualy watt of the light

i dont smoke that much but only at parties or special occassion, not really a stoner all i'll need for myself is about 7-12grams for myself

my plant is himalyan blue diesel autoflower i have anova auto flower germin 'nirvanna-short rider', would i need to bother doing this with autoflowers

yes you can, but you'd get more flowering if you added a couple of 2700 K bulbs, even 23 watts would do.

my plant at 14days old, its its a generally short plant, and by the way im growing in a cardboard box- yes very ghetto i know......still works

yea thanks man, i'm not a heavy smokerso this will do i dnt mind it i get something from 5-10grams

that should be no problem, if you have a good reflector on that bulb you should get even more.
