Has anyone ever gotten a good yeild from using 5x23 watt cfl's?

Thnx for the post, but how many plants did you have and what were the sizes if you remember?
This was 1 plant in a5 gallon bucket lst for like2 months under1 26 w cfl I did flower under a400w but I think5 CFO would have done ok don't remember yield it was like 5 years ago. Drilled holes all around the top of the bucket to tie it down too. In a 2x1.5x3 room with PC fans and a heater for winter

Did my first grow with all cfls - got a cheap multi pack at HD - and grew two monster AK48s three feet tall, yield five oz total! Still use cfls for side fill and got a 250w for $117 from HTG Supply...small light for a limited grow space that needs to be stealth. Learn with the cfls and save some cash to upgrade when you can. Keep em green...

My thoughts exactly. I growed 1 plant under cfls. But had a 400 watt mh\hps in mail before flowering was over.now i have 1000watt hps two 400. Mh 1 with switchable ballast..be surprised at deals on craigslist,amazon and ebay .rep zombie
thatswhere igotmy whole setup damnnear.. tent 60bks 400 switchable sunsystem 2 100 fan and carbon filter 45bks .. jus gotta be diligent .. i did the same iwas vegging for like 5weeks with 10 32 w cfls and i finally got my light 400w talked the guy down to 100 withnewbulbs and now my tent looks like a indoor forest

I'm currently growing with CFL"s and have been fo a bit over a year. Good results but I will soon be expanding to a 400 watt HPS and a 3x3x6 tent. Six plants in 3gal smart pots
