I got these free samples today when I visited the only hydro store in my state. I was pretty excited to find it and it's only an hour from home. He gave me a few different samples of products that basically look like they're microbe food. I've not yet stated growing with living soil, but the plan is to use Coots recipe and irrigate with blumats. Really just waiting on the Malibu compost from the hydro store. Are products like these redundant if I'm already brewing and using compost teas? The way I understand it is they're basically compost/microbe tea concentrated and in a bottle.
Here's the samples I got.
