IMO he cut too much off the reflectors, they should have wings at 45 deg to cat the light coming off the sides. Other than that, looks very practical.

lol yeah i noticed that too when i did mine i left more on i also used non refundable cans

i never tried that but this is how i used cfls before i got a hps


This is the OG a bathroom vanity mirror that i rigged up to a cord

This is it used in a hydro system. this was my test run so i grew peppers

That's pretty clever, a nice setup with little work. I guess you guys dont have much use for the shower?

I've been wanting to make some beer can reflectors myself but I hardly ever drink beer so I am going to have to go dumpster diving.

I cut holes in a pie pan and put that over my cfls. dont look as fancy as the mylar keystone beer can

i dont recall cans having very good reflective capabilities, the finish is a little dull, im sure it will reflect light, but go spend a lil loot and rab some mylar, will be much better and you could mylar the whole area
