Has Anyone ever used mushrooms to generate CO2 indoors?

Hi Everyone

I'm a newbie here. Your forum has been a great fount of information!

Here's my first question that I have yet to see addressed here. I was looking for cheap CO2 solutions for my growroom and came across an unusual ad promoting the use of mushrooms to that end. I have included the ad text below. Has anyone had any success with this method?

Also, has anyone used the yeast fermentation method to supply CO2? Are there any other cheap and cheerful means I might not know about yet?

Thanks!!!

Here's the ad:

When mushrooms are begining to grow, they are constantly putting out a output of Co2. Stick on of these bags in your room and watch your girls get a little happier. Once the mushrooms start to pop out of the bag, remove it from your room, keep the bag moist and enjoy around 4-5 pounds of mushrooms. These are oyster mushrooms that retail for $10+ a lb. and you should get 4-5 pounds of mushrooms which pays for the whole kit and than some with the Co2 just an added bonus. $25 per kit. Smaller and Larger sizes available upon request. Local delivery available for $5 more. Thanks.

These are great! i bought one last grow ... theres a caveat though... if you grow in a small space and have lots of ventilation it may not be what your looking for.. you dont want to vent out all the co2 in your small space.... if u use ventilation that draws air through your lights for example all the co2 this bag would generate would be sucked right out with the warm air....
if you do a diy yeast generator .. keeping the yeast moving in a bubbler produces LESS alcohol and extends your co2 generator.. cheapest too! sugar is pretty cheap!

Thanks for the input. I think I might go for the compressed Co2 tank setup for now. Dealing with some PLM issues and I'd rather not exacerbate the problem...
