yeah 1gal pots are definitly useable but the bigger the pot the more space for roots wich leads to bigger healthy plants that yield higher so use what fits your grow but if you can get away with it go 5gal if you can this will help lower your chances of over watering a HUGE newb mistake lol i know what its like to have size limits so also a small pot is usefull in keeping it small if that is what your going for. hope that helps any other q's just ask mane good growin

This girls been growing 12/12 from seed
in a one gallon pot. Pics taken at 7 weeks from sprout
5 weeks female
I'm planning on growing some clones
in one gallon pots also.
yeah probo, your girl is looking awesome. i am actually trying to start a perpetual 12/12 from seed. may try to clone every now and again. what kinda light you using? you should look up v12's perpetual pc grow 12/12 from seed. its personal, but he harvests enough to keep himself in plenty of herbage!!

i know its off topic but who's ass is that in your avatar
Been wondering the same shit here too lol.

Lowes has these cheap (less than $2) pots, that are only 1.5qt. Those can be used the whole time and you can get nice yields from those things

Why? Would you like to cure her very serious case of "noassatall"? Geezus, woman!! Grow some buttcheecks!!

OP, when I first started growing (and I was super broke), I used to use 1 gallon milk jugs as pots. :) I recycle.
I did it for about a year or so before I upgraded to real hydro instead of soil in the jugs. In the end, I'd get about 30 grams or so per plant with Northern Lights. Enough to smoke, but not really worth the trouble. Well, not worth the trouble to me. :) I'm addicted to HUGE indoor plants now.

You mean 1.5 quarts or 1.5 cubic feet? I'd say $2 for a 1.5qt is a rip off. I bought 1gallon pots at home depot for like $.75.

I use a 250w hps. I'm finally setup for perpetual growing.
Although i'll be growing clones in 1.5-2 gallon pots, not 12/12 from seed.
I'll be vegging just long enough to top four clones, and lst them for one
big even canopy. I think it'll be easier, and take less time than trying to scrog them.

Has anyone done it ?

Do you realize how long people have grown herb? Asking what you asked is like asking if in the entire span of human history has anyone ever had sex?

Of course people have grown from seed to harvest in 1-gallon pots .. and they either grew dwarfs or had extremely root-bound plants that grew poorly and were prone to all sorts of problems.

When you think about pot sizes try to think like a female …….. and remember that bigger is always better.
