has anyone grown through winter?

i live in the south and am currently attempting an outdoor grow. I am curious as to what the outcome will be. What are my chances like? Will it be a complete failure? I f you have tried this before in similar conditions let me know what i'm for. thanks.

I guess it will depend on how far south you are and what your winter can be like. Of course your plants will begin their seedling life under a flowering light cycle so unless you start them inside and veg them a while do not expect a whole lot of a yield unless you are talking about acreage.

Yea don't bother with any sativa dominant strains....
You will also have issues with cold nights....
Cali Connection's Pre98 Bubba is cold resistant..

I grow year round but I am in Hawaii..
