Hello everyone, after growing some gelato clones, I've noticed there are actually two different types of strain flowering in the garden.
I'm aware it could both be gelatos but different phenotypes.
I hope someone here who has experienced the gelato strain can help me identify.

Strain #1: fat, round, indica like flowers, very hairy. It has an earthy, sweet smell, with some berry, fruity smell in the back. Generally taller, with purple stalks.

Strain #2: thin, pointy, sativa like flowers. Less hairy than #1. It has a sharp intoxicating citrusy smell, with very sweet and fruity smell behind it. Almost like a lemony perfume girl would wear. Generally shorter, barely any purple on the stalks.

Thanks man, gelato is definitely a delicate strain to grow. The first strain is for sure the bigger producer, bud's size is almost more than double of the other strain.

Real gelato clones are just that. I believe there is several cuts that were floated around. Most likely 33 aka larry bird is the most common. There is a 41 which has also made its rounds, i believe a little better in terms of potency and flavor, but smaller yield.

If you received gelato cuts, they should be identical, sounds like you got something else...
