yeah it is easier in a few aspects... if you have keif.. otherwise it's a PITA to make it then cook it..

my fav keif recipe is simply a firecracker.

I have been wondering on these concentrates since I am not 100% sure if a solvent extraction pulls out as much cbn-cbd as using oil in a crockpot with buds?

I use dry ice hash in my butter, oil and tincture recipes all the time. It saves a lot of time and hassle straining plant material out of your finished product. I never press it into pucks when I make it, keeping it in its powdered kief form makes it easier for measurement and blending into your recipes.

I just performed my first dry-ice hash and can't imagine ever using any other method; likewise, I have found that using the Trichomes in powdered form has been as potent as I have ever seen. It is much easier to smoke than oil is and is usable in almost any recipe as-is - it has been tasteless so far using the blonde-colored stuff.

The two cylinders that was made from the 120-Micron screen had a little vegetable matter in it, causing them to be a little green (the bottom/left cylinders), so I will probably crumble it up and put it through the 160-Micron screen again. At the very least, I'll have to heat it up to Decarb the vegetable matter. This 21 grams was recovered from about 52 grams of bud & sugar trim, and if the remaining green trim is heated, the THCA and CBDA can be Decarbed and recovered in oil extraction, which will be another first for me.

So far, I have used the powdered form successfully with cereal (hot & cold), cookies (both mixed in & sprinkled/melted on top), in mac & cheese, on ice cream and enjoyed it each time, with very clean effects.
