I said fuck it and picked a Trimbag up from Way 2 Grow in Denver. $272 with my discount. I have been trying to reduce people at my spot and the last couple rounds I spent a lot of time and money to get everything processed.
I have been at this for about 15 years, used to own the T4, and used it for a couple years, switched to the Green Bros for a couple rounds and then back to hand.
I chop my stuff and hang it up in about 18” sections. Everything is usually dense and hell and this round was the same. Here in Denver, shit dries quick so over the years I have found that hanging for 5 days or so then putting everything into tups while the sticks still bend some gives me a good bit of moisture left for the cure.
I followed my normal process, after everything spent a week in the tups I knocked everything off the stems and into big tups.
Herb was at the point that you could use your fingers to break everything off, but still sticky and dank due to the cure process.
Last night I ran the trimbag, yes it is pretty basic as far a tech goes but it is well made and for $272, who gives a shit. I spent 8g on the twister and 5 on the Green Bros if I remember correctly.
After getting all the crows feet and water leaves off, I did 30 spins in the Trimbag on a LB of super dense Donkey Butter.
Overall, I am stoked with the bag. I am able to do the whole round over a long days work with just my squaw helping. The herb needs some touch up but shit to be honest, it looks as good or better then everything does after I have a trim crew spend 80 hours on it.
