also, i keep my chiller set to 65F so that way even if my pumps heat it up.... and heat rising to the root zone....the root zone will stay around 68F or lower

My root zone is in the 6" PVC....well, most of it anyway and I have the benefit of a cold floor, large footprint rez, and an external pump. After a nute change it takes a while for the chiller to lower the water temps, but once I hit 69 it stays there. Gimme a little credit huh? :-P

Use air temps to shorten internodal distance. No more than 5 degree difference between day and night if you can pull it off. That'll keep em stout.

my temps are freaking great. i just let them veg too long. i was letting them goto 12" and flip

they fucked around and hit 12" and it was a friday (i like to flip on a sunday to start the week) and within those few days those bitches hit about 14-16"

flowered them and they exploded

Yo man, your plants look great! I have to say I'm jealous of how healthy they look. Sorry to intrude but i gotta ask. With NFT do you have airstones directly under the holes in the PVC? Don't the roots get wicked clogged? I always wondered about this. Thanks!

No, I have (4) 12" airstones in the reservoir connected to 2 pumps. The drain back to the rez is 6" also. Earlier versions had a 6" pvc tube with a 1.5 inch hole back to the rez. When the root mass got big the 1.5" holes stopped up and the water started overflowing out of the netpot holes. You live...you learn I guess. Thanks for the compliments.
