90% of the indoor growers on here use plastic pots with no problem. Top-of-the-line growers all over the world grow in plastic pots. There is absolutely no reason to avoid plastic pots. Yes, fabric pots/smart pots do have their advantages if you are trying to achieve a certain thing. But they have disadvantages in other cases. For instance, you can't make a hempy bucket with a fabric pot, unless it's inside an external reservoir of some kind
Ya I would like to use them, but they dry out way too fast for me with my extra low humidity, which usually is between 10-20 all the time. I actually bought $100 worth of em before I realized I would have to water them twice as much in my situation. Now they're sitting in a huge box upstairs. I do really like em though other than that. They also have cool transplanter versions that make it nice when you transplant. So I'm using 15 gal plastic so I only have to water every 3 days.

Sorry for bring up and old thread but I wanted to update you guys and ask as well for some advice the biggest one is starting to bud
Don’t know what to do next tbh
Let me know if you need some closer pictures
Nice job, they're looking good. You want to start giving them more of a bloom formula now that they are flowering. What fertilizer have you been using so far?

I use nothing but plastic pots when not growing outdoors. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with using plastic pots as long as they have drain holes in the bottom. And, as MANY on here say, and anyone who has used it will also say, stay away from Miracle Grow as it is far too hot for MJ plants. NOTHING beats sunlight and rainwater as you can see by the difference in the indoor versus outdoor plants, so if you can keep them outside safely, do so.
Big fan of plastic pots as well. Much easier to deal with imo. A good old drill will fix any drainage issues. I Swiss cheese the bottoms. Miracle grow can work just fine when used at lower dose. Is no different than anything else. If it’s strong, go low dose

Exactly, I drill the shit out of the bottoms too. But I'm not a fan of chemicals though since I'm growing organic and it would kill my microbes.
