I have actually gone through something similar to this movie, in my head.... On high high dose of mushrooms. Makes me want to live them again as I did once before.

it's about a guy, who wants to erase this girl from his memory... and he goes DEEP inside his head, and relives all the memories.... and he slowly looses each one, and chases this girl through his mind... which is a reflection of how he chased her through his life....


Really really profound movie. I don't remember if she died, or just left him.

this movie is great for tripping especcially if oyu havent seen it before because even with out being loaded you still cant understand it

hmmm...I however have seen this on an extremely high dosage many times and it gives you an entirely new perspective on the movie. Basically what actually happened is they dated for a long ass time after meeting on the beach, which he was only on because his neighbors/friends wanted to cheer him up after a big fight with his gf.. kate winslet in the movie is so spontaneous and crazy, that she seeks to have the operation of having her brain erased of all memories after a few short months of bickering and name calling. jim carry only figures out because everyone that knows about their relationship was mailed a card that said "so and so's brain was erased of so and so memories, please do not bring up these memories or it can cause serious damage to their brain", his friends that took him to the beach show him the card and they get in a huge fight over telling him.. well out of spite he storms off with all of his belongings in trash bags to the brain-erasers, and they schedule his brain to be computed/processed while he is sleeping to make it implanted in his mind, in his dreams. They give him a drug to take before the procedure and he falls into dream state. In dream state he realizes his love for her and makes the decision to fight to keep her in his memory. As his mind flashes through different moments in time, he focus's on her and she helps him out the whole way along. Makes you wonder if conciously, she really wanted to be with him too, even though it was only a dream.

Elijah wood is one of the doctors trainee's, or new employee and has a thing for kate winslet and steals her underwear (apparently) while they were running her procedure at her house...
He's in jim carrys house with the guy doing the whole thing, and keeps talking about jim carrys girl. He keeps weaving in and out of dream state and can hear every word elijah wood says about jim carrys ex girlfriend, really drives him crazy in the movie.

The music selection, the cinematography. Its probably in the top five movies ever made. Its probably THE movie to watch on acid, but there are lots of good other ones.

Don't consider this a spoiler, there is much to understand, hopefully I only helped your brain comprehend. The movies timeline is all over the place, shoots from beginning to end to middle, to memories. The whole train scene is just them spontaneously playing hooky from work, and winding up on a train together trying to figure out how they know eachother (this whole scen is AFTER they both had the procedure done). The inter company relationship and the old guy and his wife...it gets mind blowing.

She doesnt die by the way, elijah wood picks her up and they she just YEARNS to go to montauk to relive the memories she had with jim carry, elijah wood takes her and all the meanwhile joel(jim carry) is fighting to keep her in each memory. She just can't figure out whats wrong/missing. Elijah wood was stealing things from joels apartment to seduce clemintine(kate winslet), but she was catching on, she saw passed his act and ultimately just wanted to be with joel. As much as they couldn't stand eachother, they had a deep deep love for eachother. She doesn't die, they run into eachother on the train, she convinces him to swing by her house and get her toothbrush and take her to spend the night at his place. Elijah wood comes up to the car and knows exactly whats going on, and is like "WHAT THE FUCK?" and knocks on his window...asks what he's doing there. They start heading to his place and the girl who has a relationship with the main doctor mails the tapes to everyones home because she finds out the doctor erased her mind because she was obsessed with the doctor and already had a relationship with him, even though he was married. so she finds her tape in the mail while getting her toothbrush and puts it in, and they both hear everything negative she thinks about him, before her brain was erased. Confused as shit, it gets heated in the car just like old times. they get to his place and he listens to his tape, they start fresh and decide to go back, realizing what a huge mistake they have made.

Truly a movie of the realistic chance that brings human beings together again and again.

lol holy shit i stopped reading right here...... mainly because one of my most memorable lsd trips involves having speed racer on the TV. It's not the old series, but there's a movie from like 09 (most of you know, but i'm dumb when it comes to up-to-date films)....... anyways..... the movie was really trippy with the DMT pipe and whippets =P try it out. and of course already on a heroic lsd dose.

And besides that....... fuck movies...... try nature documentaries (if you have to be indoors with nothing besides internet/tv)........ a few trips ago, I saw this crazy nature movie with a black tribal dude as the host (I don't even think he was speaking english buy I don't know because I was 2mg LSD in)...... I think the show was called genesis. It was made this year (2011). But all nature shows/movies kick the hell out of any real movies with actors blah blah........ Trust me I've tripped a lot........ It was showing the evolution and survival of different species...... and how we got this evolved...... I think........ don't remember a lot, except the fact that it was awesome.

Plus nature documentaries are good because they have the best visuals IMO, so you can just mute the bullshit, and blast your favorite music......... while watching Gods work =)

Are you serious about the wall? That's the worst movie I've ever seen while tripping.

Haven't seen any of the others...... but the wall is fucking terrible.
