Have you ever started like this?

I have three seedlings that have just sprouted in those small, black plastic seedling cups. I plan to:

  • leave them there until transplanting into a two-gallon pot
  • then I will bury the pots in my garden to grow outdoors
I am not going to cut the bottom off the pots because I want to keep their size small. I'm hoping to get one female out of the bunch, then reomove the other males and their pots. My goal is to have one female that max's out at about three to four feet.

Any feedback or suggestions?

Thanks!

take them out of the pots and use LST, you can keep them as short as you want, you could even do a ground vine

Given my environment (urban area), stunting their growth to some extent is what I am trying to do.

Now I'm gonna look up LST on this site.

Thanks
