Having a wtf moment

People have had sucess with miracle grow but it's only when they don't add anything else to the medium. All the nutes are in there already as others have stated. I bet if you used miracle grow alone and added nothing you would have been fine.
I personally wouldn't use it because they have had a gnat infestation problem with their soils lately, it smells like chicken shit and I want to add my own nutes to whatever soil I use like most people do. (promix bx is what I have, I drove 120 miles round trip to get it). I do however know someone who is an accomplished grower who uses MG and does fine with it.

side note: Home depot may be able to order you some promix. I've seen it there before during the spring.

My thoughts are that this is Barney's genetics. Just not the care put into his strains that you get with some of the less business oriented seed sellers. I had some Vanilla Kush that only produced one good plant from a five pack - 2 hadn't even started flowering after 6 weeks so I dumped them. I personally would never grow autos indoors again, and I certainly wouldn't choose Barney's should I ever wish to run some outdoors.

People often have success with MG soil but the problem is they usually aren't growing autos... Autos are EXTREMELY nute sensitive

gotcha, I've never done auto's and hope I never have to. I like big plants. I'm under the assumption that auto's are usually smaller and not as potent. Is that what you have found?

No one should ever ever use miracle grow, it is for ornamental use only. meaning it is no good on fruits, vegetables, things we smoke. not good for the body at all.

i usually get about an oz per plant in roughly 60 days if all goes well. im not gonna use autos anymore tho, i would much rather wait n get more weight. the potency isnt bad tho, alot of people keep sayin its not as potent like ur gonna notice a huge difference but i really havent. still some fire as far as im concerned n ive smoked my fair share of pot

yea after i ordered them i was doin more research n people were complaining about them not flowering and for a while it was looking like these wouldnt either. the only reason y i didnt switch the light cycle was because i was waiting for some easy ryders to finish n a little over a week before harvest they finally started flowering
