Correct, light in the dark period can make female plants turn into hermies, probably more likely if it's a feminised plant too. Does that mean that your landrace plants sometimes see lights at night? That wouldn't be good for them..
They do look a lot healthier now though, what have you been feeding them? Just the kelp or some epsom salts too?
I would just pull the oldest leaves as they go yellow and get rid of the lower nodes that look like they're not going to grow any buds, so basically work your way up each branch from the main stem and pull anything that looks unhealthy or won't make a bud, and leave everything coming from that nice new growth with the green stems.
