Heres what i do and get about 90% on seeds of all kinds. For cannabis i soak them for 12 hrs. Usually they sink if you poke em by then. Then i plant them in moistend dirt like you. I use a container about one cup in volume. Then i place them in the dark at about 78-82 degrees in a box and wait 48 hrs if you can. They all should be out of the shell and up by then. Dont even look at them for 48 hrs. Temps are the key.
