Having Troubles With Rooting Cuttings...STILL!!!!

I have trouble with clones too. I can never get them to survive in potting mix; not even a seed starting mix. I have better luck using fast food paper cups with lids. I rinse the cup out and add fresh room temperature bottled water, dip the stem in rooting hormone, and then poke the stem through the paper cup lid.

I also cut the tips of the leaves so the plant focuses it's energy on root development instead of leaves. After that I just have to remember to change out the water every day. A DWC would be better since it oxygenates the water, but I'm too lazy and cheap to buy the supplies to build one, and this is how I always rooted roses and other plants in the garden.

Just a 6.0-6.4ph and nothing added or misted. A heat mat under tray and 75f for temps. No hormones added.

2 seed mat on timer on 4 off 4 (with my mothers water farm cycle) take 50 plug sheet of rock wool mix up PH balanced water and have been using the clonex solution for cuttings last two rounds, but as said above Rhizo is bomb aswell, Soak cubes in this solution overnight, take your cuts and either immediately store in cup of water or dip in gel or whatever i use CLONEX gel, leave a set of leaves and cut them down on each, get a spray bottle and fill with same stuff u dunked cubes in use as foliar spray, spray inside of dome well mist cuttings well and leave dome on 5-6 days(i once a day around lunch), any weak or laydowns will be upright by now (should be) remove dome check moisture of cubes to determine if they need additional soaking spray dome spray cuts put dome back on and i leave until day 10 between day 10-15 have a good visable root system. Pretty much heat in the root zone ,good seal on dome to keep humidity and clonex or rhizo root enhancer im consistently getting 45 of 50 good and the 5 i dont are usually on the edge by dome seal and i just smash the shit out of them or break them.

Mine will all root but the fastest ones are usually on the edges of the box ???? Why, I don't know? Sometimes I throw out weak ones if they don't catch up.
