HAWAIIAN Any Info?

Hello RIU. Just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this strain. From what I know so far its called "HAWAIIAN" lol Just HAWAIIAN. All capitals.

See, I got a seed from a friend who got it from a friend, who inturn, got it from a local dispensary here in Colorado. He told me that the bag just said HAWAIIAN. After researching strains with hawaiian in the name or strains originating from hawaiia, I had no luck. Finally, I got the sense to search for strain's that the local dispenaries have in stock. Eventually I came across The Strain Man's website. Well he had a review of HAWAIIAN. I know theres thousands of strains but I'm absoloutley convinced this is the strain I have.

Today is 12 weeks flowering. I pulled off a sugar leaf and the trichomes were almost all amber. At least 70%. So I looked at the bud and the trichomes are pretty much all milky with the exception of 10-20% amber. Calyx are swollen, hairs are almost non-exzistante. It looks like you can pull it off the plant and toke away on it! lol So anyone have any info on this strain? Any help is appreciated.

So theres just a bunch of diffrent hawaiian strains going around all under the assumed name, Hawaiian? I'm trying to find a specific one. Its been flowering for 88 days now. No real bud production untill about 6 weeks. Tichomes are present on the leaves aswell. At about 8 weeks, no joke, this shit smelled just like cotten candy. Now, here at almost 13 weeks, hairs are realy dark orange, almost red. It has a hint of fruity smell, with a real almost spicey smell to it. Alot of earthy flavor to. I have already found out alot about this strain just by growing it but just wanted to see if there was a refrence, so to speak.

Sounds like you might have Hawaiian Sativa x Cotton Candy from the Federation Seed Co or you might have straight Hawaiian Sativa. Not a lot info on that strain around here.

i don't think anyone can tell you what you have exactly, unless its someone from your locale.
the regional strains are always hard to pin down, but that doesn't mean they aren't strong. sometimes i get local strain samples from friends in neighboring states, and i always love em.

even if you don't find the source of the genetics, still seems like you have some top shelf going on :)

I'm thinking its a strong sativa dom. I let her flower for 13 weeks before chopping, 90 days give or take. Honestley, she probably could of gone 1 more week.

I had the genetics pinpointed on that hawaiian x cottoncandy, until I saw the flowering time. Then I came across Ray's Choice from Kiwi Seeds. It looks very similar, but I think a few things were off about it. Then I came across a review on the strainman's site? Never heard of him until then. Well, he just rates strains from dispensaries down here in CO. He had a strain called Hawaiian on his site. Since I got my seeds from a bag of weed labled "Hawaiian", which also came from a local dispensary, I figure this has got to be it. Not only that but the high he describes is almost dead on. Now I'm looking for a grow log, or at least a few pics to compare.

I've got 2 more ladys 8 weeks into flower, and once again they smell like cotton candy. This smell dissapeared after 10 weeks and took on a spicey/fruity smell. But thanks for posting guys. Like you said Ting, even if I don't find the genetics, I still have a good strain on my hands.
