here apla is some diy carbon filter threads, one or two of these just in the room with the plants, not necessarily exausting out if you can't cut holes or anything 'm sure would help with your smell problem. you can cut it to whatever size you need. or you can get ona gel or something too. i personally would harvest when the trichs are 50%amber 50% milky that way you don't miss out on yield and it gives it an equal body/head high. Unless you REALLY want an energetic high and want to miss out on potential yield, flavor, and potency, then go ahead and harvest. yeah if it is all organic there is no need to flush, because there was no dissolved salts, but one week doesn't sound bad just in case.

Oh and thanks jolly, TERPENES is what gives mary her beautiful resins, tastes, and smells. look it up.

I'm definitely in agreement with you. I guess the way I look at it is if you want a energetic high, get a plant that will give that to you by its genetics, like a sativa, or large percent of it is sativa. You can get that upbeat high by harvesting early, but its like what was mentioned, you lose the yield and the real potential of your plant. Many sites post their thc/cbn and what not ratios which can help figure out the high. I am by no means to most experienced in this subject. It just seems to be what I read on mj genetics and looking at when a plant is actually ripe vs when many like to harvest (little to early in some cases).

yeah i don't know if his is leaning on the sativa side, but I know for sure you can't change the high of a sativa(head "high") to replicate that of an indica(couchlock "stone") all with the changing of the trichs, an indica is an indica and a sativa is a sativa. i mean i'm sure it has little effect if you were trying to get an indica stone with a sativa just by letting it go longer no it is what it is. it may have a more relaxing body effect, but in no way an indica stone. get what i'm saying?

I do I do. I've been telling people this for a while. The bad thing is there are the "semi newbs" out there and the "newbs" look to them for questions and they seem think that you change an indica to a sativa head high. I got tired of arguing with them so just left the thread. It was ridiculous.

Guys i have i problem..

my plant is dropping leaves rly fast.. atm there are like 5 fan leafs on and they are turning yellow .. the only leaves left are on my budsites but they are yellow too.. Despite that there are new hairs in the budsites.. seems rly strange since it's my first plant that has so long flowering time 11weeks says on seedsman site.. I m afraid that she wont make it for 2-3 weeks more..

she will I was thinking the same thing just a week ago. My plant was severely yellowing in week 4 of a 9-10 week flower period. After the major drop it has calmed down again. You can also use more nitrogen, or use some veg nutes and supplement some kind of product which is just pk to it to have the higher ratio. Or just use a larger amount of flowering nutes. Once I upped the nutes, mainly nitrogen the process has slowed down a lot.

Well i was using some 4-4-12 flowering nuts from a greek brand with some indonesian guano which is 0-15-0 every 2nd feed but tonight i switched to a more all around recipe 6-6-9 in order to give some N boost to see if she slows down.. I guess i ll see if it works in a couple of days..

About 2 weeks ago i feed her with half flowering half veg nuts.. my veg nuts are 12/4/4 so i guess it was like 16/4/16 but still it doesnt seems to work..

The only thing that calms me down is that after some research i did on hawaiian skunk i saw that it seems to be plant genetics since in all photos it's leaves are yellow.. even on the seedmans catalogue photo..

yeah typically the yellowing can caused by an array of things. maybe in this case the buds were leeching all the nitrogen out of the leaves, causing yellowing.

Next grow just extend the use of your veg nutrients. Plants still need N during the first couple weeks of the flowering process. I wouldn't even worry about the yellowing your already pretty deep into flowering.

any pic updates, or have you decided to harvest? my plant is looking about like yours as far as trich color and pistil coloring... the 12th is my harvest date... ummm.. it's getting real close... i am so excited... i do however plan on flowering alot longer than i did this one just to get the understanding of what type of high i get from letting it ripen up a lil more... i just need to clear some room outta my box for some future plans...

I ll post some pics tomorrow since atm lights are off.. I think i m going to put a couple of hours on my uvb too since it's running only for 2 hours per day.. gonna double it to 4 just to see if it makes any diff..
i havent harvested yet since i read Zeus harvest tutorial and i m gonna keep her as long as possible in order to get 100% from her.. But i noticed today that pistils are retracting and buds are swelling.. but still no amber trichs..
stay tuned for pics.

Hey can you PM me and give me the link to the thread talking about Seedsman's genetics being crap? I just wanna read it over.

Seedsman Seed Co's WW is close to the Original WW, and their Northern Soul Is Absolutely Fantastic. Ive grown them both, and have to say that its some of my favorite bud. Im starting another grow as we speak with nothing but Northern Soul and King's Kush in it..Well, with the Exception of the Tahoe, Sour Larry, n Larry x Chemdawg 91 cuts im keeping alive for eternity, lol!!

Anyways man, have fun n good luck with the rest of your grow. Cant wait to see them nuggets when theyre done :D

That's what i m doing atm.. Let it take it's time..

I noticed a strange thing today.. as i was inspecting my trichs i saw that in one main cola of my plant had around 90% milky 5% clear and 5% amber, on the other hand when i inspected the clone it had 15% amber and the rest milky and no clear trichs.. isnt it a bit strange?

My first grow I read everyone cuts their first too early... I waited 9 weeks, on an 8 week plant, 30% amber.. I should have waited 1 more week. I mean really.. what's a few more days?
