He/She seeds any use ??

ok so im a couple of weeks in to my first grow and this has all of a sudden taken over the majority of my time very addictive hobby. Onto the question someone sold me some hermied weed the other day and ive now got about 40 seeds just sittin here all i wanted to know was will planting these still grow a healthy plant or do i now just have a load of useless seeds with messed up he she genetics ? Any help much appreciated...

I wouldn't use them, because I believe you are right, in that they'll carry the genetic tendency to hermie again. You'd be much wiser to choose some stable seeds, rather than risk ruining huge amounts of time and effort(and possibly,...money.lol).

typically the genetics will be passed down similarly to their parents. however, nothing is guaranteed in genetics. i just harvested two grand daddy purps that were from a hermied bud and they were beautiful fems.

agreed i would avoid seeds off a hermy plant - u could be ok but its a risk

with those 40 i would use them for a gorilla grow that way they not wasted which seems a shame

i have the same deal, small pile of seeds from a hermie
not many bother trying them, but the few posts i have found turn out more like Snafu's experience, usually good femmes
it can be tough to get a read on the funny twists in MJ genetics

ok cheers for all ure help ill chuck a couple in an see what happens maybe use the rest on a guerilla grow thats what i love about this hobby the endless possibilities.

seed will bring herms girl herms still give buds smokable but will have the same tendencies as its herm momma and i would not gow them around anything els if i grew thm at all if was desperate for smoke and had no choice if i had choices id chuk da bitches

throw them away, its a road to disaster.
