You have a substitute for my all time favorite....PIZZA?
Hey, have you tried to make homemade pizza the Italian way? Very easy to do and healthy at the same time! All you need is a pizza stone;) $15
The dough is only flower, water, yeast and salt.
If anyone is interested I will post the recipe :)

I don't think brownies would help as long as they are not magical.

I love this, good thinking!
I work out a lot, lots of cardio, so I get away with eating almost anything:mrgreen:
I do try as much as I can to eat small portions (not easy in the midst of munchies)
Honestly though, my best advice is to do cardio everyday and you can eat the way you smoke:mrgreen:
FEED THE MONSTER INSIDE YOU!

I used to own a pizza shop! I do use my stone all the time! Now if I could just find a lower fat version I will be good to go!
When you get a chance post your recipe.

OK, here is the recipe that was inspired by our last Italy trip!

Get a Pizza stone (avoid wallmart (break easy), bed bath and beyond has good ones)

The Dough:
3 cups flower
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 1/2 teaspoons of yeast (we use dry yeast)

Mix the yeast with the warm water first, then mix both with the flower. It will get sticky, that's ok.
Cover the dough with a moist dish towel for about 2.5 hours.

You can get creative with the sauce, we use organic tomatos, basil, salt and oregano. Blend it for like 10 seconds so it doesn't get too smooth. (make sure it has the flavor you like.

Toppings: I would get fresh mozzarella for the cheese, the rest is up to everyones personal preferences.

Making the pizza:

The dough you have prepared will make about 4 medium sized pizzas. So, separate it with a knife into four pieces. You are going to need some flower on your hands and working surface. Whenever the dough gets sticky throw some flower on there:mrgreen:. You are going to need one of these dough roller, like your grandma uses:mrgreen:, take your time and roll out your pizza, don't worry if it is not perfectly round, it adds character.

Preahead the oven with the stone in it to about 450-500 degrees (15-20min.)
This is important!!
Put your first pizza on the pizza wood slider that came with the stone (hopefully) and place it on the stone in the oven for about 1 minute. We want the dough to seal itself before we put the sauce on (you'll understand ones you do it) After about a min. pull it out and put your toppings on.
Now all you got to do is bake it!!! Put it back in for 6-7 min. and enjoy your first self made kick ass pizza.

can't really use this if you're trying to be diet concious..you have high aounts of complex carbs, simple carbs, and saturated fats..you want either one of those as a source of energy(except for simple sugars), so your body can differentiate between using carbohydrates for fuel or being in a state of ketosis(using fat for fuel)... this list would only be good for bulking(gaining mass), but this is a dirty bulk and would most likely result in higher body fat gained compared to lean muscle..

i applaud your effort tho.. :P
