I currently have two clones that I just switched over to flower. the strain is sfv og. used t5 to veg them and just switched to my 250 hps for 12/12. my tent is 2x2x5. since I started using the hps though my temps are hitting anywhere from 84-87. I have it a little less than a foot away from the tops of the plants. is this too hot? have a computer fan for intake at the bottom and one at the top for out take and a fan inside circulating air. ill post pics when I can. it has been so long since ive tried indoor it seems I forgot a lot so I decided to come back here. any advice or help is appreciated.

thanks for the chart. good info on there. will leaving the vents open on the bottom of my tent cause problems during flower? it is a black mesh material. when I leave them open with the light running the temps are fine low 80's. the only problem is that I leave for work at 6am and the lights turn off at 10am. so the room does get light during the day. not too much as I have a blanket over the window.

difficult to say

just try and avoid light falling on them lower leaves

consider a light trap

tape some card so it don't impeded air flow but stops light

good luck

I would def try and lower temperature ive found sfv og to be temperature sensitive and likes to throw out nanners in higher temps

ive got it done to about 80-82 now and that's with the light about ten inches from the canopy. how was your yield with the sfv og? how long did u flower for also?

In the little tents I used to use a 4" inline vent fan to help pump heat up and out. Make sure any port in the top is open, I have even cut ports in and then covered them with the wifey's black pantyhose..Hope it helps.

so here they are a few days into flower. I attempted to make a scrog net but it is a lil bit loose. seems to do okay though. it is my first attempt at scrog. plants seem healthy using GO go box nutrients and RO water. ill post another pic in a week or so. have to go and buy more damp rid to try to keep humidity down during dark period and some clone gel to try to clone the little branches at bottom that will not make it.

if I was to lower the light that much to 5" the coverage area would not be enough for the canopy though right?
