Heat Issue

Hi there people, so I feel like I'm having some hearing issues, when my lights are off during the day I'm running around 74 defrees an when my lights are on I'm at 84 degrees. The temp in my place is set at 67 degrees, I feel it should be running a lot cooler in my grow. Any feed back would be awesome. Thank you

If 84 is the hottest its getting then I wouldn't worry too much. But for anyone to help a bit more we would need to know your grow area, fan size, lights, a picture of your space would also be awesome.

I have a 4x8 tent running 2 Mars 900 LEDs an 1 315 LEC in the middle. 2 18in fans, an 2 8 in exhaust fans one blowing an one sucking.

if its peaking out at 84 you should be fine unless you have a strain that cant take it.

Thoe temps

A) sound good for growing... ~70 for the soil and High 70's low 80's for air.

B) Sound reasonable. My environment is in he 50s-60s. My small 3x4x4 ft box has 1x300 watt LED and 6x~20 watt CFLs for additional lighting. Your's about the air temps I get from that set up (high seventies low 80's) which proportionally works ok as about right.

As long as you have good ventilation, decent CO2, and keep our humidity in check... you sound right on track.

In the hindu region of Afghanistan the same plants your probably growing could grow in temps of 100F so I wouldn't worry about it mate.

Though, to be fair... the other factors are different there too. Those plants are acclimatized to that... and these may be used to (even genetically predisposed) to not do as well in that environment anymore...

But I dicker. I'm with you... these plants are hardier than most think... I think it's less about those temps and other things as variance... leading to stress...

Where are you exhausting the hot air?
You could use both 8" fans to exhaust, a passive intake is enough.

The corner of the tent going straight out the top of the tent with maybe a foot of 8in hosing, an the other fan is inside the tent blowing in cool 67 degree air.

Your fan is blowing upwards towards the lights blending the heat with the ambient air , raised it up and level it to blow across the canopy , hot air rises let it do its thing.

Nice setup , looking good!

So prop up my 8in fan that's on the ground? My exhaust fan is by my lights blowing hot air out of tent through the top.

Yes in the picture you have it blowing upwards towards the light which is pushing it and mixing it with cool air below , one across the canopy , maybe small deskfan under canopy , also you got some space spread the plants out some I know there in drain tray but give some space helps air flow.

I just don't want my fans to beat up my plants or will that be ok? I can prop up my 8in exhaust fan that's blows my cool air in an adjust my fan down one. I just don't wanna beat up my plants.
