Heat Issues Need Help

im runnin a 400 watt mh/hps i have a 4 inch in line duct fan for ventaltion. i started to run some cycles to test temps and dam there hot like 86 88 ne tips to bring the heat down? and im using an passive air intake system but idk its still to hott??????????????????

It's obvious you need to make some adjustments. You'll probably have additional issues with humidity too when u add your plants.....

If your light vented or just the enclosure? If the light isn't sealed you might want to start there. Rig up something like this to mount your fan to - https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/434945-20-cool-tube-3.html

ya its a closet and its sealed besides the bottom of the door (passive air intake) the duct dan is in the cealing 165 cfm

i agree get a cooltube they do a excellent job bring the temps down quite a bit

ok i see no its not inclosed i got this shitty batwing light was a mistake buying it but im stuck with it so i gotta make it work

Make a cool tube and throw the bat wing on top. Should work great in combination.

My ducting goes to a fan and then into my bathroom exhaust ducting and out of my house.

I'm in a tent in a closet in a bathroom.

Where you exhaust to depends on your ambient heat. If the room is cold then just exhaust into the room. If the room is too hot them exhaust outside of it.
