heat issuses

ive got a dr100 and is far too hot, i have a canfan 125l with filter and a vk125 sucking in air and still is around 92f what can i do?

can you get colder air from somewhere .... (outside maybe?) ac even?

what size and light type?

is your light in a cool tube or aircooled hood?

apart from using an a/c sytem you can put a pane of glass in the top that keeps the light in a seperate space than where the plants are but this migt only give you 4-5 degrees difference. if your willing to drop some dough than a good set of super leds will completely eliminate all of your heat issues no question. but you need ones with the right spectrum and 2-3 watt diodes to be a great grow light, and they can get pricey depending on where you get em

or you can always invest in a better inline fine. you need to be completly exchanging all the air in your chamber at least 5 times an hour to keep things cool

i think the big prob is it sound like you have the can fan set up to bring air in. if thats the case you should set the fan up to exaust air or take it out of the room..and remember its always better to pull air rather then try to push it.

yeah my is pulling more air out than in because its sucking in at all sides, i suppose i could get ducting to my window bit of a mess but possible.

the can fan is lot more powerful than the vk
