heat problem in a cfl closet

Finally got over my paranoia and decided to register, been reading you guys for a bit, but now I need some help

got a closet set up going with 4 60w cfls 1 100w and 1 150w (all watts are equivalent, cant recall the actual also they are all the daylight style except the 150 which is soft white). been growing some good bagseed in a mix i made, mostly organic soil with perlite, bat guano, and blood meal mixed in. ive already had one grow fail with some ADam fems and some great bagseed, but they had much less light.

i speculate that the reason they failed, and the reason my current ones are not so great are the temps. all my closets are right under the roof so it can get around 97 in there towarsd the end o a sunny day. I've got a desk fan running blowingon the lights, which i noticed drops the temp about 2 degrees. also supplementing in jar yeast, sugar, and water to make some co2.

are these temps just too hot? i've read some places that it can grow at up to 95, and given its equatorial origins it seems like it really should be able to withstand some heat. any suggestions to cool it down without consuming to much energy on fans?

problem is the closet is in a rented apartment, therefore i cant cut holes in the door. opening the door does drop the temp another 2-3 though

hm build a false frame in your closet? with pvc and just vent out side of that space, should work if your tent would be pritty air tight.

what is a false frame? building a separate enclosure around the box? could you link me a picture example by chance
is there any sort of material i could put to the ceiling of the closet that would absorb some heat?

thanks for the help k

take everything else out of ur space u dont need. point the fan towards the plant(s) not the light. u need circulation around them.

only other thing i can suggest is buying a new wardrobe and cutting holes in that. or moving it away from radiators etc

there's tuns of picture's and idea's look around the grow room area,a false frame would be a box or whatever u decide to make to house your plants.then u would just cut into the box,and vent hot air etc out of that box into your regular closet .

heres a thought this is what im doing in my situation.

Its also in an apt closet just buy some 80mm pc fans then get old cell chargers and make your own plug in fans. Setup a box cardboard or whatever outside of your closet that snugly fits the fan inside. think of it as an air duct then buy the biggest vinyl tube home depot sells and create your own air flow under the door into your grow box or whatever I have an old TV box sealed air tight minus the tube going in which i plugged the end and made holes and made them face up circling around the base of the plant and above. Make a fan or 2 for good ventilation through some carbon filter you can make yourself easy.

Peace.
