Heat problems, limited space not a limited budget

So I have a limited grow space of 75cm(l) x 75cm(w) x 200cm(h) and I'm using a 600watt HPS for flowering in a grow tent.

Its obviously going to create some heat in the small space I'm growing in. What could happen Budrot? Mould? Plants die?

Any suggestion of bringing my temps down with a limited grow space but not a limited budget.

Thanks

if you have unlimited budget , then get cooltube or even a water cooled hood , make sure you have a sweet exhaust fan and air intakes , then try running your light for a few hours and youll have an idea on what temps you are looking at.

just put a fan blowing directly on the light...it should cool it down a couple of degrees...and make sure u have a good air flow threw ur grow tent...put a fan up high blowing out on high...and a fan down low blowing in on low or med...that way the air is always flowing!! good luck!

So i'm assuming you have no type of ventilation set up at all? With a 600w you better get some quick. Buy a digital thermometer and check your temps. It should be around 80. If theyre too high then your plants can practically stop growing.

For a room your size (2.5 X 2.5 X 6.5ft = ~40cu ft) you should have at least a 50cfm fan. With a 50cfm fan and no airflow restrictions all the air in your room will be exchanged in 1 minute. Of course if you use a carbon filter youll need a much stronger fan.

You should have at least one intake and exhaust point. Put your intake down low and your exhaust up high.

EDIT - crap, i didnt realize all these responses got posted in the time i wrote that. Note to self - dont smoke and post!

Good response homegrown. Sounds like an ideal plan to me. Not bad with your maths either are you.

I don't mind taking advice at all LoudBlunts thats my whole point of being on this forum to take advice from the more experienced.

Sorry about all the threads everyone has been more than helpful and it will be down to this forum whether it actually works out I guess.

I wanted to be sure the Design, Setup and Security was very good before I started.

Any idea what fan I use for the intake. I can't seem to see any on the hydroponic shops online. Probably just me being a noob.

to that other thread.

thas why i said you must not like advice. because you asked where can i find good quiet fans and solid ventilation.

shit i did all your homework for you....i even laid out the ventilation plans to how you would do it...

find that other thread you started..... in its my post.

you dont even need a fan for the intake , the exhaust will create negative pressue and suck air in , as long as you have a hole for it to come in. but since you have cash to burn ...

if you dont get an intake fan, make sure to still use some sort of filter, doesnt have to be carbon but at least one thatll keep out dust and other debris. and if you do get a fan get one with a lower cfm than your exhaust, that way you can keep the negative pressure thing going.

keep in mind, for the best ventilation you should have the rest of the room completely sealed.

Look what happened to my grow tent. Watch grow temps. Look at my grow log. Doing way better now but this is prob something like u are going to do. Get an a/c reflector and add air conditioning if u need, or if using c02!
