Heat Stress? (curling leaf edges)

hi

these seedlings/plants are like three weeks old. two of them are curling, but only the top leaf sets that were developing when I think I had my 400w hps too close and without air circulation in a confined space.

I moved the HPS higher and got a fan to circulate air as well as a HEPA air purifier with an ionizer.

could it be something else?

These plants are in miracle gro moisture control soil which has nutes pre-added in (its all they had left on the shelf at KMART so ive just been using the stuff and it works ok) could it possibly be too strong of nutrients?

this sort of happened before when I had the hps too close and i moved it further away.

this is my first attempt at growing, so it is pretty low maintenance...I am learning a lot by trying and reading this site constantly.

thanks

One of my plants is doing the same thing, the others are doing just fine all are on the same feeding and watering schedual, I've moved my light higher and increased fan speeds thinking it was heat induced as well. The other plants however are showing no signs.

Why would you flush once a week?

I had the same problem recently, but not that bad. I managed to fix it. I grow in hydro though. Its a nute problem. You need to check your ph. I managed to fix mine with a ph control, and the addition of calmag. Hope that helps

It was only a question. I have never read about people flushing once a week. Every does stuff different. I am not bashing your flush technique. Whatever works for youbongsmilie
