the temps in my closet grow are getting to about 85 with the lights on. the closet as no doors the room the closet is in is blacked out and i have celling fan on all day. what would be the best way to bring temps down..

The ceiling fan is just circulating the same air. The only way to bring your temps down is to increase you ventilation. You need to bring some cool air in or get rid of some of that hot air. Is there anywhere you can get this from? Without exchanging the air your plants can't get the co2 they desperately need. Remember photosynthesis consists of taking in co2 and changing it to oxygen. Without this there is no energy to create the buds you want anyway!

Also you didn't mention what lights you are using?

Depends on what u have to work with. Is there any air vent at all in the closet itself? If so, then you can push hot air out that duct with a small fan. If no vent, can you cut a hole in the wall to access your home's hvac ducts?

If no vents and no holes then your closet is always going to be a little warmer than the room it's in, and you have to cool the whole room down low enough for the closet to be no warmer than about 80 f. That means either central ac or a window ac if u want to grow during the warm months of the year.
