Hello guys.
Im newbie . and finished my first project.
my heatsink temp is : after 10 minutes working reach 50c celsius.
if i read temperature near the light ( 5CMS ) i can read about 100C celsius.
is my unit working well ?
set up is:
LED CREE CXB3070 + HBG 60-1400 + MODULED HEATSINK

yes i am in the UK and nope keeping them for myself 10 total no idea why they were their in the first place

Measure all sides and every part of the heat sink to get the full surface area then check out growmau5s heat sink vid on youtube to get the formula to give you a better idea of what it can handle, its only a rough guide. I'm too lazy this morning to look it up.

It'd take a little bit of digging, but about two or three years ago Supra was initiating a lot of discussions about heat sinks and what they could handle. Might be worth checking out.
