Heavy Rain and High Humidity -- Harvest? And How Long Until Bud Rot Appears?

Socal got smacked with a surprising rain storm. The forecast didn't even predict it, but it started raining at dusk and has been raining heavy for 6 hours straight. The next few days are supposed to have 50-90% humidity and temps around 50degrees at night and the mid 70's during the daytime.

I know a lot of folks on here deal with much harsher conditions, but I would rather harvest early than risk rot. Should I harvest or wait it out?

And if tonight's rain did trigger bud rot to start, how many days until the rot appears? Is it safe to wait a day or two or better to chop as soon as possible? If rot is systemic, can it be in the plant material before the rot is visible?

I’m going through this too the advice given is to closely monitor the girls over the next few days maby gently blow with a leaf blower carful not to force water deeper and cut any small areas of rot as they come if they come more frequently then consider chop

Shake them bitches off Take it as a good cleaning. Well needed this time of year.
If your gonna have humidity problem above 70% for a week straight. Run a fan outside. Helps a ton. Where you at. SoCal?
mid so. A fan should help. The dryness will be back. a few days away lol

The hippy shake has been the standard
Thankfully a leaf blower is better

Harvesting immature weed is worse than pitching some rotted product
I used the blower. Then noticed it sucking all the dust up and blowing it on my wet buds.
I live in the desert So area is to each I guess

Back End of a screwdriver on the stock. Plus shaking In glimmer light you can really see the mist blow away

Appreciate all the advice. Decided to pull 2/3 of the crop today. I would rather harvest something in good shape than push it further and risk bud rot.

I am still curious, anyone know how much time between bud rot infection and the time the symptoms are visible?

87% humidity here in Portland and wet as can be. I'm chopping the Night Nurse and OG Kush plants I have despite them being not 100%
ready.
Stupid humid and in the 50's at night. I'm running an over sized fan, led lights and just watering in my greenhouse. Airflow, UV, temp and willing to chop trash. Or pull tomorrow. All about your knowledge and resources. LOL. 014.jpg
