Hey everyone,

I've been avid lurker in the past year reading and learning. I'm plumber currently contracting mainly in service and installation of multi-stage RO Filtration Systems.

I've been a rec. user since '99. I started growing to supply my lady fighting cevical cancer and dealing with many medical issues. I have a passion with mechanical anything and learning anything and everything about this wonderful plant.

I've been working on a modular self sustaining HP aeroponic system. My goal is to be able to monitor and adjust the environment via mobile as I travel across the province being gone for a week at a time.

I'm by far a guru in any aspect, I enjoy learning, experimenting and growing (pun intended). Coming home from a long week allows me to wind down and reflect in my Zen Aero Garden.

Without further adue, photos attached.

Cycle 2: Bloom Wk7
1×Malawi Gold Auto Fem
3×GSC FEM (first time)

HP aeroponic garden
-rockwool, clayton pebbles
-aquatec 5800 robp x2 (distribution, drain)
-4× 5gal buckets
-50micron brass Nozzles (2× each bucket)
-on/off cycle: 5sec on/3min off

Nutrients
-AN: conAB, Overdrive, B52, CalMag

Key Factors experienced:
-had family obligations that took me away from the garden for 2wks which MG auto transitioned and got thirsty and dried out my resevoir. I recovered 2×GSC from near death and just winged it from there allowing 1 week from signs of veg growth as recovery before I changed the light cycle and keep it close to the MG harvest time. MG closer to Wk9 in Bloom.
-Nute burn: still on working dialing in stage:ppm levels:topping up resevoir

Maturity signs:
-Red pistils beginning to appear
-60%cloudy Trichs 40%clear. Target 80%cloudy 20%amber to flush.

If you guys have questions and/or suggestions, I would like to learn and gain more knowledge. Also, not quite sure this is allowed but DM for SC add, I try to provide live updates 1-2/wk

Welcome! Looking pretty good.

The only thing I notice with what you have provided is brass and hydro typically do not mix well. Just had a guy a week or two ago that figured out his brass pipe connectors were being oxidized by his nutrient and harming his plants. One of those things that may be ok now, but will eventually cause problems.
Pretty sure stainless steel is the go to is metal is a must.

Thank you! Very good point and did come into thought at one point briefly and since then overlooked. Any suggestions or recommendations on material product? I run ⅜" from the robp Manifold reduced to ¼" serving each bucket.

Plastic and pvc type stuff everywhere possible. If you need a part to be metal you want quality stainless steel. Not super familiar with aero, but your nozzles would be the only thing I'd accept any metal in if needed and I'd find some nice stainless ones. Everything else can be done with plastic barbed fittings and creative pvc/abs work.
