Hi i got a 105w cfl (6500 k) light to grow one weed plant (6 days old) .. is that good ? can i leave the light 24/7 on the plant? the leaves are getting yellow .. is that because overwatering them? last question, can i use bottled water to water it? because it says ph is 7.0

The plant needs more than water. Bottled water is great but could get expensive. The plant is yellow from too much water or no nutrients. If your letting the soil dry between waterings then it's nutes your lacking.

ok so to grow a plant you don't wanna look at the wattage, you wanna look at the lumens the wattage puts out, I say 3000 lumens per plant is what you should use depending on your grow space

thatnks guys for replying fast, I will attach a pic when I get home. it says in the light's box 105 watt, 525 lumen and 6500k.. does it mean I have to change the light?

That light is fine for seedlings and early grow stage. Get a better light to bloom. Hps 150w 1 maybe 2 plants. Or get a 1000 watter and be the local pimp.

What should i look for when buying the light, is it the watt? or lumen? some lights have low watt and high lumen and some lights doesn't have lumen but has high watt. so im confused which light should i choose?

you wanna look for lumen output if a bulb doesn't have lumens you prob don't want it

widow makes is right try to get a hps 150w, 250w, 400w, 600w, or 1000w whatever you can afford, they are better than cfl and will give you better yields. Don't worry about the lumen so much

Widow Maker has received rep from over 1000 members, but has a little over 1000 points total. Back when you got them, many members didn't have many rep points accumulated, so the points awarded were very low, and many times zero.

You need add at least another 200 watts of red CFL (2700k) in order to flower effectively. You can leave your current 105 watt (6500k) light on 24/7 to veg the plant. You need to add the additional red cfl when flowering, and switch your timer to 12/12. Resist the urge and water only every 3-4 days.
