Help - 6 DWC Headbands in trouble

can i suggest having a look at, i'm not saying use it, its up to you, but i personally use advanced nutrients Sensi Grow / Sensi Bloom, and they are pH Perfect, so you dont need to worry about the pH levels in your rez. Makes my life so much easier and cheaper.
Had good results from my first grow with it, see journal.
I would recommend having a look it it mate, but keep up the good work, and you have a nice sized room there, utilise it all!!!
Keep us updated, i'm watching for updates.

im not big on soil, but i heard using a layer of sand or hydroton on top of the soil would filter them from feeding on your top soil. Might wanna wait for a soil guru to chime in on that one though.

edit: wow responding to an old post, sorry guys

sand on top of the soil, tape the drain holes or use sand to cover them, sticky traps, hot shots. do not play with the gnats or you will be over run in two weeks time. I started seeing a few and with in two weeks I was killing thousands. I all so used a ho2o mix to dunk infested pots into. Plants loved it and grew a lot more after I did the dunk
